The international Hippo English Language Olympiad (preliminary round) was successfully held at our school on 20 March, bringing together a large number of students of different ages. The competition was organised in several categories, and students demonstrated strong knowledge and motivation in English.

The competition took place in two sessions – at 8:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. – with a total of 28 students participating. The contestants were divided into four categories:

• Little Hippo (Year 3)
• Hippo 1 (Year 5)
• Hippo 2 (Year 6)
• Hippo 3 (Years 7 and 8)

The administration and supervision of the test were carried out by the invigilator, teacher Danijela Tatalović, and the competition coordinator Bojana Palijan. Students had the opportunity to test their English language skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary, and the use of grammatical structures.
