Using puppets in early language learning can have many benefits. Students are more comfortable expressing themselves in front of their peers and they get more engaged because everything sounds better with a puppet. Puppets can make mistakes; they don't speak perfect English. They can be serious and silly at the same time. They boost students' creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and curiosity. They are co-teachers to teachers and learning partners to young learners. And above all, they are pure fun!
