The competition in English organised by the Croatian Education and Teacher Training Agency (AZOO) for the school level was held on 19 January 2023. Until this year, elementary school students could only compete in grade 8, but starting from this year, students in grade 7 could also participate. Fifteen students from grade 7 took part in the competition, as well as nine 8th graders. We are proud of the test results of our students. Four students are invited to the county stage of the competition: Gabriela Grubišić Brnelić (7a), mentored by teacher Jadranka Vukotić; Ema Rogina (8a), Leon Abramović (8b) and Sara Vuletić (8b), all mentored by teacher Bojana Palijan. At the school stage of the competition, students' reading skills and their use of English (grammatical competence, use of vocabulary) were tested. The next stage, which also includes testing listening skills, will be held on 28 February 2023 at Elementary school Zamet.
